OVERVIEW
Boogie & The Yo-Yoz ("we," "our," "us") operates the Boogie & The Yo-Yoz Merch mobile application and website (the "Service"), an online store for official band merchandise. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the Service and how it is handled. You do not need to create an account or sign in to browse the store or add items to your cart.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AT CHECKOUT
When you place an order, checkout is handled on a secure page hosted by Shopify. You enter your name, shipping address, email address, and payment details there. That information is collected and processed by Shopify and our fulfillment partner to complete and ship your order. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
INFORMATION THE APP STORES
Cart contents: the products, sizes, colors, and quantities you add to your cart are stored in a shopping cart managed by Shopify so your cart persists between visits.
Personalization text: if you add custom text to a personalizable product, that text is attached to your order so it can be produced correctly.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
Like any website or app, our service providers' servers receive standard request information (such as IP address, device type, and app version) needed to deliver the Service, keep it secure, and prevent fraud. We do not use advertising identifiers, and the app does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
To process, fulfill, and ship your orders; to send order confirmations and shipping updates by email; to provide customer support; to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service; and to comply with legal and tax obligations.
SHARING
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the providers needed to run the store and fulfill orders: Shopify (e-commerce platform, cart, and secure checkout / payment processing), Printify (on-demand production and shipping), and Supabase (backend hosting for app content such as product listings, tour dates, and announcements). We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
DATA RETENTION
Order and transaction records are retained as long as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years). Cart data is retained until the cart is completed, cleared, or expires.
SECURITY
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we and our providers use industry-standard safeguards.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to request a copy of it. To make a request, email us at the address below.
HOW TO REQUEST DELETION OF YOUR DATA
To request deletion of personal information associated with you or your orders in the Boogie & The Yo-Yoz Merch app, email boogieandtheyoyozmerch@gmail.com from the email address used for your order, with the subject "Data deletion request." We will delete your personal details and any stored contact information. We retain order and transaction records that we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting purposes for up to 7 years; those records are permanently deleted after that period. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
